When you are ready to submit a proposal request for the first time, we recommend that you give your sales consultant a phone call to get to know them a little bit. Keep in mind your sales consultant for marketing might be different from your sales consultant for web design. Endlessrise has consultants that specialize in different service sets. Typically your marketing consultant is different from your design consultant. To touch base with your sales consultant simply call 323-313-1234 ext. 2.
Aside from phone calls, you are able to engage with your dedicated sales consultant from 9am to 5pm EST through chat or discussion support. Chat support can be handled on Skype and discussion support is handled from within the dashboard (you would have already learned about this in the proposal module video tutorial [insert smiley]).
Before we get into submitting your proposal request and what to expect in return, let’s talk about why and when you submit a proposal request. When you submit a proposal request for any SEO or LSO campaign, you are doing so to either get your research and associate reports generated to help you pitch to the client, or you are doing so because the client is already sold and you simply need to process the order. If you are submitting an SEO or LSO proposal request to gain research, to help you close your sales, then you should first qualify your lead. When Endlessrise does this research for you it costs money. ERI employs a team of 5 full-time employees to do keyword research, not all of the reports are generated for free, and it requires the time of the sales consultant to consult with you on the research. Therefore, before you submit a proposal request for this sort of research we ask for you to first qualify your leads.
What is considered a qualified lead you may ask, in short, a lead that you feel you have at least a 1 in 10 odds of closing. To refine that statement a bit more, you probably should have already conducted a client intake meeting wherein you asked their budget, made sure they were interested in the services, and disclosed some ball park figure to them… and they are interested in a follow-up meeting after you have your research done. This would be considered a qualified lead. What if you want to send reports to an unqualified lead? If you want to send reports to an unqualified lead then you should use our tools section and generate reports from there. Once you have a qualified lead then submit a proposal request, but the tools section will allow you to run preliminary reports to help you pull the lead into qualification.
For web design, PPC, and ORM proposal requests we do not have automated research. The purpose of submitting a proposal request for these services is to avail of direct consulting. We do have third party tools used to analyze PPC campaigns but we need the AdWords access and clients do not easily give this up to someone pitching them services. Web Design proposal requests often need additional consulting on our side because you need to know the limitation of what we can do and how much it will cost. For ORM, you may want to submit a proposal request for ORM because you want us to take a look at it and let you know if we honestly believe we can help your client or not.
Once a proposal request is submitted you want to allow for 24 business hours before you receive communication. You are always welcome to call in for immediate consulting, but if you are waiting for consulting through the dashboard discussion it could take up to 24 business hours. If you are submitting a proposal request for keyword research it could take up to 48 business hours, so please manage your client’s expectations accordingly. Keep in mind, there is a full video education on everything mentioned on this page inside of the video education library.
Once you are accustomed to submitting proposal requests and talking to the ERI consulting team, we are sure you will become addicted! Free research and consulting to help you close leads with the technology to back it, it just doesn’t get any better than that. Well, an ice cold beverage on a Caribbean beach is pretty nice… but let’s get back to business.
At some point in time after submitting several proposal requests, you are going to close one of them and it will be time for you to launch your very first campaign with us! I’m sure you can guess, next we need to go over the campaign launch process.
