INCURRING GOOGLE RANKING DELAY AND PENALTIES
In the event website keyword rankings are experiencing irregular difficulties in Google, the campaign will undergo extensive analysis. If the ranking difficulties are determined to be outside the control of Endless Rise Inc. such as ranking penalties due to duplicate content, spamming, sandboxing, or irregular website development, alternative tactics will be implemented.
To identify ranking penalties in Google, one of the easiest ways is to measure the current and past rankings in Yahoo and Bing and cross reference them with the Google rankings. Although Google carries more traffic than yahoo, yahoo is more difficult to achieve high rankings within because of their less sophisticated search algorithm. If rankings are very low or non-existent in Google, but very high in yahoo, then there is a ranking block or ranking penalty of some sort in regards to the Google search engine.
PROCEDURE FOR WEBSITES INCURRING RANKING PENALTIES:
1. Research to find the ranking penalty issue (Sometimes this is identified too late in a campaign to hit target rankings within the initial estimated time period.)
2. If the ranking penalty issue is unresolved or unidentified, then the second largest search engine will be defaulted to.
3. Drive the maximum amount of organic traffic to the target website through the next largest search engine for the Geo-targeted location.
4. Continue to analyze and attempt to remedy the ranking block and/or penalty within Google while generating the maximum amount of traffic possible from secondary search engines, typically Yahoo, followed by Bing.
RANKING INCONSISTENCIES ARE TYPICALLY A RESULT OF:
1. New 404 error pages
2. Broken Page Links
3. Non-Updated Sitemap
4. Duplicate Indexing Content

There is no manual to Google and many times they go to great extents to stop SEO consultants from understanding their system. Additionally, Google is not perfect and has many glitches. Often times websites are involved in ranking penalties before they ever arrive to Endless Rise and the overwhelming majority of the time we can resolve the ranking issue, however time delays on some campaigns can be very detrimental.
One of the most common forms of ranking delays comes when duplicate website content from the homepage is indexed more than once, internal or external to the website. Regardless of the issue, if the website is ranking extremely well in Yahoo or Bing and incurring struggles in Google, then we know the ranking penalties exist. Although the Endless Rise Inc. guarantee does not apply to these situations since we are not at “fault” or for lack of performance, we will continue to work to rank the 40% + in yahoo thus driving high quality organic traffic.
